hi everyone, im hawa, and I am very excited to meet you all! 21 years ago, I was born in the overlake hospital in bellevue, and the world hasn’t been the same since :) 🐣
im a 3rd year in computer science and entrepreneurship! I was originally on the pre medical track where I was studying biochemistry and computer science but I think I have made up my mind that I don’t want to go to medical school anymore! ain’t nobody got time for that 🫡
my family is originally from The Gambia, West Africa, aka, ‘the smiling coast of Africa’ 🇬🇲, so you are always going to see or hear me laughing, so you might have to mentally prepare for that… i laugh a lot idk I just feel like the world is so funny!
some fun facts about me are: ☕️ this will be my first quarter as a TA 👼🏾 I have a twin brother (im cuter) 🌍 I speak 5 languages ⚽️ I played competitive soccer for a couple of years and won best 11 soccer players in washington state at one point 📿 super interested in linguistics and comparative religion. ✍🏾i enjoy writing! 🏃🏾♀️in middle school, i had the fastest mile run time (shes a trackstarrrr) 📱super interested in the world of tech startups!!!

From 2018 - 2021, I worked at Mcdonald’s as a crew member and became the youngest manager at 18! I had fun and learned a lot about customer service and working with people from very different backgrounds to achieve goals 🙂 manager was hella crazyyy tho LOL i had to quit!!!!
I then worked at Google as a Software Engineering Intern, worked on creating an application for the Google Cloud Web Marketing team! Google has great food.
I worked at Amazon as a Software Engineering Intern working in the Prime Entertainment Organization! amazon has amazing bananas you guys and they are free!
